'Scandal' Season 5 Finale Ends With A Shocker- Olivia Commits An Abortion

The fifth season of 'Scandal' just ended and it left with a bang. Lots of revelations were seen and if you have not watched it, be aware that this contains a lot of spoilers. For one, Olivia Pope (played by Kerry Washington) did get an abortion and another thing that shocked a lot of viewers is her breakup with Fitz (played by Tony Goldwyn).

The season finale was entitled 'Baby, It's Cold Outside' and it was full on drama until the end of the episode. Everybody at first was actually convinced that the two could last, especially due to the many sacrifices the President made in exposing the truth about his relationship with Olivia.

Just as everyone is already fine with it, their love affair still looked too good to be true. Although they have fights and arguments even before and they would end up breaking up and still get back together, this one looks like they have reached an impasse.

Olivia found out she was pregnant and obviously was confused about the whole situation to the point that she felt she was being punished. She was then seen in abortion room and even drinking after that. The President talked to her and tried to calm her down, but she was probably hormonal that she wasn't be able to control herself anymore and that she burst out the words, "There is no us!"

On the other hand, there were some bloodbaths that happened as well and it involved Huck (played by Guilermo Diaz) and Rowan (played by Joe Morton). Rowan did want to end his life and Huck made some moves that he thought would work on his favor. And last but not the least, Olivia's ex died in the hands of Jake (played by Scott Foley).
