Do you love theme parks? Do you love roller coaster rides? Do you dream of zombies chasing after you? Yes? No? Well, The Walking Dead fans should be preparing for a zombie themed ride soon.
Sally Corp. just recently unveiled a new dark ride that is based on AMC's hit TV series The Walking Dead.
What will fans expect out of this ride? According to the men behind the zombies, it will be a battle for your life. Aptly so because the ride is being called The Walking Dead: Battle for Survival. It will be a mixed media ride featuring familiar scenes and settings from the television show itself. It will host a combination of live animatronics, special effects, projections and a lot of scary stuff.
The Ride's designer, Richard Hill, prepares audiences for a not too gorey ride, just mellowed a little bit as compared to the show but it's still going to be a dark and scary ride. The ride's design is already fully conceptualized. But the major theme park ride may not necessarily be for all ages, so kids, the elderly and those with a faint heart condition are being cautioned.
As there is no concrete location for the park yet, negotiations are already under way to find the zombies a place to stay and scare.
Just great. You're just giving the zombies a home to hide out in, AMC! Just as well, keep your zombie apocalypse survival kit handy. You never know when you might need it.
