Sting, Pharrell, Jill Scott and Bruce Springsteen To Perform On Shining a Light TV Concert About Race

For years, racial discrimination has always been a battling issue in America. This country has come too far now to being diverse and welcoming kinds of race. But despite of this progress, there are still people who discriminate other people because of their color and ethnicity background. This is why a TV concert called "Shining A Light" pertaining to this subject is about to air make everyone aware of this on going issue. AETV first made it known back on October.

Lots of celebrities in the field of music particularly will come together for this wonderful cause, according to The Inquisitr. The publication also gave out the names of the artists who are expected to be a part of the show and they are Sting, Pharrell Williams, Pink, Ed Sheeran, Sia, John Legend, Tori Kelly, Jamie Foxx, and Brice Springsteen just to name a few.

It is the goal of the network in cooperation with iHeartMedia to spread awareness and change to the society with regards to the subject of race. The teaser of the concert TV is already compelling and creating an impact as it urges people to talk about it and do something about it because everyone deserves to live free from discrimination. It is a topic that needs to be brought out in the light.

This whole event was inspired by the many lives of black people particularly in Charleston, who left the world because some racist gunmen took their lives away. The network meant for this to be talked about literally that after the concert segment, there will be another show called "Shining A Light: Conversations On Race In America." It will allow artists to talk about the subject that has been affecting everyone this year.

People could watch it live at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California today at 7:30 pm. Tickets are available from $25 to 75.
