G-20 Summit: Obama Vows To Hunt Down Paris Terrrorists

After the shocking terrorist attacks in Paris, France last week, several countries have united to show their support to the victims and USA President Barrack Obama is joining the world leaders in supporting France amidst chaos against these terrorists.

On Sunday, November 15, president Obama joined the rest of the world leaders for this year's summit held at the Mediterranean Resort, where he vowed to join the French authorities as they move to hunt down the terrorists responsible for the attack, according to reports.

"The skies are darkened by the horrific attacks that took place in Paris," Obama said following a meeting with Turkish President Recep Erdogan, two days ahead of the leaders' meeting attended by the world's top 20 economies. "We stand in solidarity with them in hunting down the perpetrators of this crime and bringing them to justice."

He went on saying, "The killing of innocent people based on a twisted ideology is not just an attack on France, not just an attack on Ankara, but an attack on the civilized world."

Reports say that President Obama and Russian President Vladimir Putin had small talks for 35 minutes during the summit, as confirmed by the White House. Besides taking down important moves on the recent brutal Paris attacks, the two leaders have also discussed the progress in Syria, including the areas of agreement outlined in the International Syria Support Group.

The White House added, "Specifically, President Obama and President Putin agreed on the need for a Syrian-led and Syrian-owned political transition, which would be preceded by U. N-mediated negotiations between the Syrian opposition and regime as well as a cease-fire. As the diplomacy continues, President Obama welcomed efforts by all nations to confront the terrorist group ISIL and noted the importance of Russia's military efforts in Syria focusing on the group."

As also confirmed by the White House, President Barrack Obama and Saudi King Salman have also discussed some important notes on how to shut down the Islamic State, adding that the two leaders have agreed to take the need for a ceasefire and the calling to change the current political state of Syria.
