Will Krysten Ritter Wear Jewel's Superhero Outfit In 'Jessica Jones?' Find Out What The Cast And Crew Have To Say About Kilgrave! [VIDEO]

Krysten Ritter's superheroine turned private investigator is so dark and moody that it would be hard to imagine Jessica Jones ever wore a white suit with purple hair. However, in the comic book series 'Alias,' Jessica Jones was once a superhero known as Jewel, who liked to put on a catsuit with her attention-grabbing haircolor.

But will Krysten Ritter ever wear Jewel's costume in the Netflix series 'Jessica Jones?' Although it is highly unlikely that the 'Don't Trust the B--- in Apartment 23' star will ever agree to put on the white catsuit, TV Guide reports that Jewel's costume will be mentioned in a flashback scene.

The scene will feature Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) tries to talk her best friend into adopting an alter ego if she wants to be a crime-fighter. However, Jessica Jones simply isn't having any of it.

'Jessica Jones' may be all about Krysten Ritter's whiskey-loving, short-tempered private investigator, but the cast and crew of the Netflix series can't stop talking about Kilgrave, aka the Purple Man. The sinister villain played by former 'Doctor Who' star David Tennant, who, according to executive producer Melissa Rosenberg, is "just swallowing his part whole."

"He's a really, really, really dark and manipulative force in these people's lives," Erin Moriarty said of the villain, and Rachael Taylor explains why Kilgrave is such an effective bad guy.

"He's certainly a psychological villain, in the sense that the damage that he does is very emotional and sinister in that way," she said.

All that psychological terrorism could prove that Kilgrave is a force to reckon with.

"He's probably one of the most powerful villains there is," Moriarty added about the Purple Man.

'Jessica Jones' also stars Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth and Rosario Dawson as 'Daredevil' mainstay Claire Temple. The series will be available on Netflix starting November 20.
