Bill Nye Launches His Own Fashion Line In The Name Of Science

Known TV host for science is doing some really fun experiments, Bill Nye who is also know as "The Science Guy" is now making a name in fashion. Believe it or not, Nye just launched a line inspired by his work in Science.

Latinos Post said that the known host just recently ventured in releasing a bow-tie line that is themed under science. It would make sense that he first comes out with it since he is quite known flaunting some cool bow tie along with his baby blue lab coat. That bow-tie has kind of became his brand.

It all started when the creator and designer of Joe Boxer, which can be purchased at Kmart, Nicholas Graham, approached Nye asking to work for him on a bow-tie line. And that is it, the rest is history since now, these bow ties are available for purchase via the website of the designer himself.

Science lovers and self-confessed cool nerds would definitely love these ties because it has cool designs like the phrase "science rules" that is imprinted on them, while others have chemical elements' abbreviations and the Planetary Society logo.

For those who wonder about the price of these bow-ties, one could buy them at the cost of $49.50. It might be a little expensive for some, but don't worry because 10% of the price actually goes to The Planetary Society. It is a non-profit organization that focuses on astronomy and space spearheaded by Nye himself.

This is not the first time that Bill Nye was invited to collaborate with a designer to form a fashion line. In fact, Fashionista recalled that this is actually the second time now that he was asked to work with Graham. Finally, this time he agreed and the products are now out.
