In an interview with the Los Angeles Times on Friday, November 13, Anthony Mackie and his longtime love, Sheletta Chapital, revealed that they have just welcomed their third child.
On Friday, Mackie told the Los Angeles Times ,"I recently had my third kid, and it just messed up everything that was my reality. It just changes your entire perspective on the world. Even traveling is an issue now - I've got to buy five tickets!"
Now that he has three little ones of his own, Mackie, who is known for his parts in films as diverse as The Avengers, The Hurt Locker, and Our Brand Is Crisis, added that he has a new appreciation for his parents’ plight, who had six kids of their own, including Mackie.
He went to explain, "I always wondered why we never took vacations further than Florida or the Gulf Coast - it's like, 'Oh, because they couldn't afford eight plane tickets, so you just put all the kids in the Lincoln and drive to Florida!'"
It was in December 2014 when Mackie and his wife tied the knot in a secret ceremony in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
In the comedy The Night After, the star will show off his funny bone but this isn't the first time he had us in stitches. It will hit the theatres in November 20.
Mackie stars opposite Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon-Levitt in the film, that tells about three longtime friends who are hoping to go out on a drinking- and drug-fueled rager on Christmas Eve, before they are confronted with the realities of mature living.
It was publicized that Mackie had given his support to Donald Trump for president of the United States, in October 2015 saying that he had "drunk the Kool-Aid." However, he later explained that it was a bad attempt at a joke.
He reprised the role in 2015's Avengers: Age of Ultron and Ant-Man, and will again in 2016's Captain America: Civil War.
