Jennifer Lawrence Admits She’s Lonely: 'Guys Are So Mean To Me’

Jennifer Lawrence says things aren't going so great in the dating department.

The 25-year-old Oscar winner may be one of the biggest A-listers in Hollywood, but even she has trouble finding a date. Jennifer opened up to Vogue magazine about being single, and how she usually stays in on the weekends.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 star may be a little bit intimidating as Katniss Everdeen in, but that’s just a character!

“No one ever asks me out,” she told Vogue. “I am lonely every Saturday night. Guys are so mean to me. I know where it’s coming from, I know they’re trying to establish dominance, but it hurts my feelings. I’m just a girl who wants you to be nice to me. I am straight as an arrow."

As previously reported, Forbes named Lawrence as the highest-paid actress in 2015 for raking in over $52 million last year. But despite her successful career, she admitted that others make her "insecure."

"It's strangely exhilarating because you keep trying to fight for that validation. You want to have [validation] before you get married, so that you don't seek it out once you are," she explained to the mag. "I feel like I need to meet a guy, with all due respect, who has been living in Baghdad for five years who has no idea who I am."

Jennifer was lucky in love for awhile, with her five year relationship to X-Men co-star Nicholas Hoult. After that ended, she took up with Coldplay rocker Chris Martin where they were on and off for almost a year, and are now definitely off as he’s moved on to a PDA filled relationship with British actress Annabelle Wallis.

Lawrence, meanwhile, sounds interested in finding a man to settle down with at some point: "I feel like if I find that one person who I want to spend the rest of my life with, who I want to be the father of my children, that I would absolutely not f**k it up." She added: "But I'm also not banking on that."
