If you've been a Star Wars fan all your life and have seen all the Star Wars movies then undoubtedly you can't get the Star Wars tune out of your head especially that the December premier is getting closer everyday. In the 2015 American Music Awards, Pentatonix will perform the famous Star Wars score just to add to the excitement.
If you haven't heard of Pentatonix yet, or PTX, then you haven't seen Pitch Perfect 2. PTX is an a capella group consisting of five members. These five vocalists all originated from Arlington, Texas. They are Avi Kaplan, Scott Hoying, Kristin Maldonado, Kevin Olusola and Mitch Grassi. The group just recently released their self titled album in November and has topped the Billboard. The event will be streamed live from the Los Angeles' Microsoft Theater on November 22.
The Star Wars score was composed by Oscar and Grammy winning composed John Williams. The popular a capella group will perform the piece at the AMAs on Sunday. But they won't be performing alone. The group will be backed up by a full blown symphony orchestra. This is a perfect prelude to the Star Wars opening in December. Plus, the group is still on a musical high note after their successful album release.
This news was first broadcasted by The AMAs Twitter announcement via their social media handle @TheAMAs:

The music awards show will also feature performances from Carrie Underwood, One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez. Jennifer Lopez will also be performing and will be hosting, her first time, on this year's award show. Watch The American Music Awards this Sunday November 22, 8:00 PM ET on ABC, as reported by EW.
We can safely say, the Force is strong with Pentatonix.
