Vin Diesel, the action packed tough guy with muscles and a silly social media goofball announced on his Facebook page that he's signed on for three more scripts after The Last Witch Hunter. He has the scripts for the next installment of XXX, Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 2 and Kojak.
"I'm lucky this Sunday because this weekend I was blessed with three scripts" said Diesel who took to Facebook in a video message. He's set to do Kojak, a 1970's cop drama that starred Telly Savalas as Lt. Theo Kojak. However, Diesel isn't due to film that anytime soon.
XXX: The Return of Xander Cage is Diesel's second project and he claims that the film is action packed. ".. action of the highest order" he said. He continued to tease that there's extreme sports and that the spy genre movie has lots of fun in store.
Diesel showed off a CD labeled "Awesome Mix Vol. 2". If you remember the first Guardians of the Galaxy Movie's ending showed our hero receiving a mixed tape from his deceased mother. The second mix tape she made for him. Aside from Vin Diesel, it appears another family member is much more excited about the next Guardians movie. Aside from Marvel, his son can't wait for the sequel. Diesel says that James Gunn is a great writer and he claims the script is a page-turner.
He also teased to the tune of Meghan Trainor's Music Better When I'm Dancing. "It's ironic because dancing is a big part of this Guardians of the Galaxy script" he says.
*Gasp* More dancing in the sequel?! Is it a dance-off? A mob dance? Who knows! There will be dancing of some capacity, that's for sure.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. is scheduled to be released in theatres on May 5, 2017. The filming of XXX 3 would begin in December.
