Julia Roberts Reveals Her Secret to a Successful Marriage with Husband Danny Moder

On Friday, November 6, the Oscar winning actress, Julia Roberts, who just celebrated her 48th birthday, told Extra host Mario Lopez that the secret to her 13-year marriage to cinematographer Danny MOder is plenty of "kissing."

In 2000, while Julia Roberts was still dating Bratt, she met cameraman Daniel Moder on the set of her film, The Mexican. During that time, Moder was still married to Vera Steimberg.

Over a year later, he filed for a divorce. Moder and Roberts tied the knot on July 4, 2002 at her ranch in Taos, New Mexico, after his divorce was finalized.

The happy couple have three children together: twins Hazel and Phinnaeus "Finn" Walter Moder (November 28,2004) and son, Henry Daniel Moder (June 18, 2007).

Roberts, got the chance to work with her husband on their new film, Secret in Their Eyes - an upcoming American thriller film written and directed by Billy Ray, based on the 2005 novel originally titled El secreto de sus ojos by Eduardo Sacheri, an Argentinian author.

Julia's plays the role of an investigator whose teenager daughter is brutally murdered, other cast stars are Chiwetel Ejiofor, Nicole Kidman, Dean Norris, and Michael Kelly, while Moder was the film's cinematographer.

"It definitely helped me that he was there. It was nice at times that we got to go to work together and then come home together," Roberts explained. "All that work time, when you come home and go, ‘Oh, honey, how was your day?' We did all that in the day and in the car. And by the time we got home we were able to just put it away, which was really delightful."

Previously adapted into the 2009 Argentine film, The Secret in Their Eyes, Sacheri's novel won the Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film at the 82nd Academy Awards

STX Entertainment has scheduled to release the film on November 20, 2015.

In addition to giving her time and resources to UNICEF as well as to other charitable organizations. Julia Roberts has also raised awareness for climate change through her role as Mother Nature narrating a Conservation International Film which relayed the fact that nature does not need humans, but humans need nature.
