Teyana Taylor, shows her stunning engagement ring as her engagement with NBA star Iman Shumpert is made official.
On Saturday, singer Teyana Taylor thought she was just going to enjoy a special baby shower alongside her closest friends. She was totally unsuspecting that her boyfriend Iman Shumpert had some big plans of his own.
At their baby shower, the 25-year-old Cleveland Cavaliers basketball player proposed to his pregnant girlfriend.
He decided to pop the question, at the "Royal Shower" held inside the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland and as everyone guessed, she absolutely said yes!
Flasing the ring, Taylor wrote on Instagram. "I am his Ruby Woo...I'm still speechless. I love you baby. @imanshumpert. Thank You @imanshumpert for putting the color back in my life! I love you so much."
The couple will be naming their daughter Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr. and she is due on January 16, 2016 as revealed by the 25-year-old athlete on Facebook in September.
Iman wrote, “I couldn’t be more happy than to share my first child with the woman I intended to have my family with. Iman Tayla Shumpert Jr is expected to enter this world “1.16.16”. We want that world to be as pure as possible for her."
A snap of their sonogram along with a long and touching caption describing his joy of having a daughter was posted by the basketball star on Instagram.
On July 9, 2015, Shumpert re-signed with the Cavaliers to a four-year, $40 million contract.
Suffering a ruptured Extensor Carpi Ulnaris sheath in his right wrist, he was ruled out for three months on September 29, 2015.
Taylor is a judge of the eight season of the American competitive dance reality television series, America's Best Dance Crew on MTV on July 29.
On August 24, Taylor released a much anticipated EP titled: The Cassette Tape 1994.
The tape pays tribute to the iconic 90s sound and includes many samples from 90s hits.
