"Frozen 2" directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee revealed that fans could expect a different side of Elsa in the forthcoming sequel.
Movie News Guide reported that Elsa can open up with more fun once again the second installment of the film. "That's what was really good about the short-we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality...you will see in the next one," Chris said.
Christian Today said that "Frozen 2" will have some flashback that will expose the life of young Elsa. The flashback is expected to elucidate how she manifested her power at her age and how her parents became aware of it.
Moreover, the publication shared that viewers are expected to see Elsa's power to freeze everything in sight was nothing new to her parents since "Frozen" had shown that her father told the leader of the trolls that his daughter was born blessed with the power and it was not a curse for her.
Christian Today also said that "Frozen 2" will possibly show Elsa and Anna's parents did not actually die. There was a shipwreck in the first movie but their return was only deferred as Elsa's mother became pregnant and later gave birth to a baby boy while they were on the vessel.
Additionally, Yibada previously reported that "Frozen 2" could show Anna unleashing some magical powers even if not equal to her sister Elsa. Too, there is another possibility for Anna to expose herself in the film as a superpower woman.
To recall, filmmakers Chris and Jennifer hinted something about Anna in an interview with HitFix. The pair said that the power of Elsa's younger sister would be quite different from her but she should be considered light as it would very challenging and adequate to "save the day."
"'Frozen 2' might show her power not linked with ice or snow and now it is totally unclear what type of magical powers she will possess in the sequel," MNG reported. "On the other hand, it is still shrouded in mystery that how "Frozen 2" would show Elsa acquiring her ability to have control over ice or snow."
"Frozen 2" is projected to hit the big screen in 2018, however the exact date is yet to be announced.
