Pixar's First Finding Dory Poster Has a Familiar Catchphrase

On Monday, the first poster for Pixar's forthcoming American 3D computer-animated film - Finding Dory was released. The poster showcased a sweet throwback to 2003's American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film - Finding Nemo.

The tag on Finding Dory's poster remarks "she just kept swimming..." which make fans direct there gaze toward Dory's fin as she propels her body in the ocean.

The American comedian, television host and actress - Ellen DeGeneres, is behind the voice of the adorable, absent-minded blue tang fish named Dory. Ellen DeGeneres shared the poster on her Twitter account with a message for everyone not to miss the trailer to be released on Tuesday.

The sequel showcases a tale from director Andrew Stanton's Finding Nemo, who notified the crowd at Disney's D23 Expo in August, that his scheme for a follow up film came from his own concern about Dory, who is a sweet-natured fish with short-term memory loss.

The American film director, screenwriter and producer who is based at Pixar Animation Studios - Andrew Stanton, stated, "I wanted to know that if this charming forgetful fish ever got lost again, that she would be okay, that she would find her way home," director Stanton also said, "And at the end of Finding Nemo, I wasn't confident about that. So that's when I knew I had another story."

The Finding Dory film picks up six months after the first film (Finding Nemo) and it features Dory's quest to answer questions about her past.

Finding Dory's voice cast includes returning star Albert Brooks (voice of Marlin), also, the American actress - Katlin Olson, the lead stars of Modern Family - Ty Burrel and Ed O'Neill, British actor and musician - Idris Elba, the  English actor, musician, and director - Dominic West, the American film actress and director - Diane Keaton and the actor who have appeared in all eight of the American Pie movies - Eugene Levy.

Finding Dory will hit theaters on June 17, 2016.
