Bob Saget & Ashley Olsen Had a 'Full House' Reunion

On Friday, November 6, during the stand-up comedian Bob Saget 's opening night perfomance on the Broadway play,  Hand to God , he had a mini reunion backstage with his former Full House costar fashion designer Ashley Olsen.

On the popular '90s sitcom, which is getting a reboot on Netflix next year as Fuller House, the 29-year-old and her twin sister, Mary-Kate Olsen, shared the role of Michelle Tanner.

On Saturday morning, Saget wrote on Instagram, "Loved having my dear friend Ashley Olsen at my welcoming opening of @HandToGodBway last night with the brilliant cast I get to act with: Steven Boyer, Geneva Carr, Sarah Stiles, and Michael Oberholtzer. Almost time for the matinee today. Can't wait."

An American sitcom created by Jeff Franklin for ABC, Full House, the show journals a widowed father, who enlisted his best friend and his brother-in-law to help raise his three daughters.

Broadcasting eight seasons and 192 episodes, it aired from September 22, 1987 to May 23, 1995. 

In syndication with tied-in merchandise, such as a series of books, have been marketed as the series was being rebroadcasted.

On the hit '80s and '90s sitcom, Saget famously played Danny Tanner while Olsen, was one of the two children actresses who played his beloved daughter, Michelle Tanner (Ashley’s twin sister Mary-Kate also played the role).

The tentative title for the upcoming sequel series to Full House is Fuller House. It is scheduled to air on Netflix in 2016.

John Stamos began spearheading the effort to bring the show back in the late 2014.

On April 20, 2015, Stamos confirmed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, that the spin-off had been green-lighted by Netflix after rumors about was all over.

The first episode of the series will be titled "Our Very First Show, Again", as confirmed on July 16, 2015.

John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse on the show, told reporters that as the Lifetime movie suggested, he had actually once suggested that the Olsen twins be replaced.
