Ever wonder what goes on in the mind of a cop? Good thoughts? Bad thoughts? Regular cop turned good? Good cop turned bad? In Jennifer Lopez's new television series, she'll tell you how and what exactly goes on in the mind of a morally conflicted cop.
The American Idol judge, MTV music artist and Selena actress is putting her drama shoes on again after her work in Out of Sight.
Lopez is starring in a new television series called Shades of Blue. She plays Harlee Santos. Santos is a detective and a single mom. The series is set in Brooklyn and Santos goes undercover as an FBI informant to protect her only daughter. Talk about motherly instinct. But that doesn't sit well with the station's Lt. Matt Wozniak (played by Ray Liotta). He's determined to track and hunt down (and maybe shoot down) the person responsible for leaking information to crooks - and it might not even matter if it's in his own team, in a report by EW.
Perfect timing especially in today's modern world where information, not money, is the currency. What length will Lopez's character go to in order to protect her daughter?
In an exclusive trailer unveiled by Lopez on Facebook, she posted on Sunday - November 8, 2015 how excited she is of the new series: "So proud of Shades of Blue. Can't wait for you all to see it. Check out the trailer now! "Who we think we are and who we turn out to be... are they ever the same?" #FirstLook #ShadesOfBlue"
