Leah Remini Talks Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes Scientology Wedding

Ex-Scientologist Leah Remini says outright that Tom Cruise and David Miscavige, Scientology Chairman, were her main reasons for her leaving the old church. Remini tells all about what happened in Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes' wedding on what and how Scientology worked.

In an interview with Dan Harris on ABC which aired on Friday, Remini reveals her experiences with Scientology and the people in it. She has announced ahead the scheduled publication of her book this Tuesday, a memoir called "Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology."

Jennifer Lopez, a good friend of Leah Remini, reports to Vanity Fair, that she was kept separate from Lopez and her then-husband Mark Anthony when they all attended the Cruise and Holmes Italian wedding in 2006. They were separated by seats, cars and tables.

What started as a singular question grew into a controversy, putting her in a tight spot by the church officials.

Remini tells Dan Harris, that maybe the reason why they were being separated was because they suspect that she could be a probable wall for the couple to join Scientology. She goes on to say that Cruise and Miscavige are the reasons why the church of Scientology is falling.

Leah Remini credits Jennifer Lopez as an instrumental force in helping her become separated from the church.

Scientology is a body of beliefs and practices created by L. Ron Hubbard, a Science Fiction Author. Scientology teaches that humans are immortal beings who have forgotten their true nature. It also claims that psychology is destructive and must be abolished. In April 1953, Hubbard wrote a proposal to transform Scientology into a religion and targeted celebrities in 1955 stating that the popularization of Scientology can be done through the arts. John Travolta is also committed to Scientology.

Remini, until recently, was a Scientologist advocate since childhood.
