"So it is interesting to see those two different views of femininity," stated Bellucci. "One dressed in black who comes from darkness and Madeleine, who is almost always dressed in white and represents the future."

"I had to play a Bond lady not a Bond girl because Lucia is a mature woman," explained Bellucci. "[Even] though she doesn't have the beauty of her youth any more, she still has her femininity and that actually is her savior."

"It is very important that I am playing an adult woman for this role and, actually, Lucia [because] she is a widow with a secret. We need to see her sadness, her desperation and also her age," she added.

According to Belluci a James Bond type of man truly "doesn't exist" in real life but she did take pleasure in her moments with Craig.

"Daniel is such a gentleman on screen and off screen," Bellucci explained after her intimate on-screen relationship with Craig.
