Pope's Disappointment Towards Vatican Finances Revealed

Pope Francis was disappointed and demanded a crack down on the expenses of Vatican due to uncontrolled spending and out of control system.

"May the Lord forgive us, but we do not pay!" These are the words that came out from the mouth of Pope Francis after the financial meltdown of the Church.

He appointed a special commission called COSEA to make reforms for the Vatican's structure. However, this was supposed to be only for a few Cardinals and other officials but someone secretly recorded the assembly.

After two years best known investigative reporter Gianluigi Nuzzi author of "Merchants of the Temple" released a the transcripts and claims that Pope Francis is still aiming to change the system of the Catholic Church.

"So far Jorge Bergoglio's efforts to remove the Merchants from the Temple have been insufficient," says Nuzzi in the final section of his book.

The conclusion was taken from the biblical story of Jesus when he drove out of the temple in Jerusalem money changers and traders.

Nuzzi also said in a press conference on Wednesday that the financial reform commission of the Vatican church has made discoveries on how the budget is being spent.

One of which is that for every ten Euros donated by a Catholic, six were used to plug holes in the church's finances.

"Two went to a reserved account already in credit to the tune of 400 million Euros and only two to the Pope for the good works it is meant to finance," adds Nuzzi.

Another book stating the same claim about the alleged scheme was released by Emiliano Fittipaldi and it says that it raised a staggering 378 million Euros.

The Vatican spokes person claimed that the two books were out of date and biased. He also added that Pope Francis' reforms already resolved many issues.
