Samsung has just released two new Ativ laptops named as the 'Ativ Book 9 Pro' and the 'Ativ Book 9 Spin'. The release of the company's two new devices is considered in perfect timing as the Holiday season is fast approaching.
It can be observed that the two laptops have the same processors. However, the devices varies in terms of design as one is a traditional laptop while the other is designed as a new convertible-hybrid system.
The Ativ Book 9 Pro is a traditional laptop which are best suited for power-users. It is equipped with an Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor partnered with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 950M graphics for a fast and powerful browsing experience.
One of the major features of the Ativ Book 9 Pro is its 4K resolution display which is considered first in the South Korean multinational company's laptop. With a 15.6-inch and 3840 x 2160 touchscreen display, plus it's new "real time HDR enhancements," Ativ Pro is considered one of the best laptop in terms of display.
On the other hand, Ativ Book 9 Spin is an ultraportable laptop which includes a 360-degree dual hinge. With this feature, the laptop can be easily bent and be converted into a tablet. The device has a 13.3 inch display and a 3200 x 1800 resolution, making it a major competitor to other convertible hybrid laptops like Lenovo Yoga 900 and Microsoft Surface Book.
In terms of performance, Ativ Spin will be powered by an Intel Core i7 6500U processor accompanied by an integrated Intel HD Graphics.
Both of the Ativ laptops contain an 8GB of RAM and a 256GB of SSD. The two new devices will also take Windows 10 Home as their Operating System.
In terms of price, Samsung stated that the Pro will be sold at a price of $1,599 while the Spin will be at $1,399. The company said that the new laptops will be available this month in Samsung or Best Buy.
