The Muppets To Still Get A Reboot Even After Relationship Problems From Its Execs

The hit children show The Muppets has been experiencing a lot of relationship issues from its characters Miss Piggy and Kermit. But they are not the only ones whose relationship went rocky, because even the show's executive producer and co-creator Bob Kushell was recently reported by Deadline to leave the show due to some issues with Bill Prady, also a producer of the series.

The show is about to get a new replacement to take Kushell's position and so far, Kristin Newman was said to be in negotiations with the management according to The Inquisitr.

The Muppets came really strong when it first aired with the same title for its pilot episode. Unfortunately, after installments, its rating went really low. TV Line said that there were about 9 million viewers who watched the show when it first came on TV, but only an average of 4.4 million are now watching it after its premiere. There was even one episode that was only viewed by 1.4 people. It is obvious that its numbers are running low, but the network is still hopeful and still sees potential for it to regain more viewers in the near future.

Ever since the beginning of the show, it has been Prady and Kushell's idea who brought The Muppets to reality. The network trusted and has assigned Kushell to be the showrunner for this one because Prady is also the producer of the hit CBS show, The Big Bang Theory. However, both of them were on the credits as The Muppets' executive producer.

The two eventually found themselves not having the same vision on the creative process and style anymore, and that's among the reason why tension became present to the point of Kushell leaving The Muppets. But despite these issues, fans of the series can still expect it to run with new episodes.
