Gotham Is Casting A New Actor From 'Sons of Anarchy' To Play 'The Knife'

Gotham is now on its second season and it is about to feature a new antagonist. According to The Inquisitr, this new character has never been heard of before in the world of DC Comics. This will no doubt intrigue both fans of the comic book and the show itself.

Meanwhile, the website Comic Book published a story that says that Tommy Flanagan, from another popular TV series called Sons of Anarchy, was actually chosen to play the role of The Knife. For those who have followed the biker series, Flanagan was famous for playing the role of Filip "Chibs" Telford.

At first, this sounded like just a rumor, but the actor himself confirmed it by posting on his Twitter account the good news. "I'm on the next flight to @gotham Send the #Batmobile. I'm driving. #IAintNoJoker @FOXTV #gotham #FOX #Batman," Flanagan posted. He didn't just tweet a bunch of words, but he also added a picture of him with Gotham's logo.

All of these were confirmed once again when Comic Book Resources published a photo of him while on the set of the series. It's looking like he is extremely excited to be working for this new series that he is on.

It was back in October that the announcement came out that he would become a part of Gotham. Although, back then, nobody really knew who exactly he would play on the show and it's just that everybody seemed to have assumed he would be a villain. Now, the cat is out of the bag since he is out to play the role of The Knife. Not much is known about this character, except for the fact that he is dangerous and he is not someone to be messed with.
