'Pitch Perfect' actress Rebel Wilson revealed she was once asked to appear on stage alongside Kendall Jenner and her sister Kylie Jenner but turned it downed as she wasn't a fan to the reality stars.
According to News.com.au in an interview with KIIS FM's Kyle and Jackie O, the Australian comedian revealed to the radio duo that she was once approached and asked to present alongside Kendall and Kylie Jenner at the MTV VMA's in August but she refused to do so.
"I said no, I said I'd do it myself," Wilson revealed to the radio station. "What they stand for is totally against what I stand for. They seem a bit superficial and their careers aren't really based on talent."
The 35 year old actress then went on to explain the huge difference of how she achieved her fame compared to the Jenner/ Kardashian clan. "I know they're super popular, but I'm all about personality and working hard to get to where I am." Adding, "How Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape and I just went to acting school and worked really hard."
Rebel Wilson is definitely one of the famous people who is known for speaking what's on her mind. Just recently, she also faced a major backlash after she joked about police strippers while presenting the award for the best hip-hop video at the MTV Video Music Awards.
Meanwhile, the 'Bridesmaids' actress is currently busy promoting her new plus-size collection for Torrid. The collection is named 'Rebel for Torrid,' which caters to sizes 12 to 28.
Wilson explained her inspiration to her collection came from her own experienced in the past. "I even have direct access with companies to get freebies but I always found with the plus-sized brands, they weren't as good quality or they didn't fit, they were pretty much muu-muus," she said.
