Jason Mraz and Sara Bareilles Record Theatrical New Duets

The Web series "Making the Record" of the American singer-songwriter - Sara Bareilles, is a fun look into the singer's recording activities for her forthcoming fourth album - What's Inside: Songs From Waitress. Sara Bareilles' upcoming album consists of music she penned for Waitress (a 2016 Broadway musical) - based on the 2007 motion picture of the same name.

Sara Bareilles is joined in Episode 4 by the American singer-songwriter who became famous in the San Diego coffeehouse scene in 2000 - Jason Mraz, he records as the character of Dr. Jim Pomatter for the album.

As the pair record the two songs that will appear on What's Inside, the clip totally shows off the their musical chemistry and friendship.

The 'I'm Yours' hitmaker - Jason Mraz stated, "For those who know Sara Bareilles, this artist is sharp, quick witted, hilarious, and intelligent. While this is a concept album of sorts, it still manages to exhibit who she is and what she is capable of. The album is the work of a true artist and definitely it will become a classic." Sarah's memoir Sounds Like Me, became a New York Times Bestseller.

Sara Bareilles and Jason Mraz debuted their collaboration "Bad Idea" in late October. In the playful duet, the characters of Jenna and Dr. Jim Pomatter showcase all the reasons why they can't fall for one another.

I have only ever witness Jason Mraz make his art from a place of deepest sincerity and that is a beautiful thing to behold. The upcoming What's Inside: Songs From Waitress album is slated to be released on November 6. And the musical is scheduled to debut on Broadway in April of next year.
