The 27 year old singer and song writer Rihanna just cancelled her performance for Victoria Secret on December 8 at 10 P.M this year. It is a heart breaking news for fans that loves Rihanna's songs, fashion statement and everything about her.
She formally broke off her performance contract for this year's most awaited Victoria Secret Fashion Show. It was said last November 3rd that the reason for her performance cancellation was that she needs to devote most of her time to her latest upcoming album, named Anti.
Rihanna ruled the stage last 2012 Victoria Secret Fashion Show with her Performance singing the song Diamond which made all of her fans assume that she will be on the Fashion Show every year. Unfortunately, fans were wrong. They just have to wait another year and see if Rihanna will rule the stage of Victoria Secret Fashion Show again with spectacular numbers of hits since she cancelled out this year.
Instead of the fan favorite Rihanna, Ellie Goulding the 28 year old singer/ musician will take her place together with declared performers Selena Gomez and The Weekend. People might also see a never-before-seen performance of Ellie Goulding from her On My Mind Album which will be released this month, November 6.
Rihanna had her own album Good Girl Gone Bad released last August 2005 which has the songs Umbrella, Pon de Replay, SOS and Disturbia that became pretty popular in a short matter of time. It was awarded with gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America accomplishing over 500,000 units of shipment. Also, the album Good Girl Gone Bad sold over two million copies all over the world and hit number ten in the Billboard 200.
