Dead Frog Found In McDonald's Chicken Wrap

Seeing a dead frog in your McDonald's food might be the worst thing ever. Cordellia Buckley can testify to that.

The 10-year-old kid from England allegedly found a dead frog in her wrap which is about four inch long. The young girl bought the Big Flavour sweet chilli chicken wrap with her father at a drive-thru while heading to their home in Moreton, Merseyside.

According to reports, Cordellia Buckley almost felt sick after realizing that what she had bitten something tough and chewy which was actually a dead reptile.

The father of the young girl named Dave first thought that it was just a Halloween prank but later realized that her daughter's health is at stake.

"She only had a little bit before she felt something funny in her mouth. She spat it into her hand and said 'Ew, this is horrible. What is is?' Then she said, 'It's a frog! It's a frog!' the girl father recalled.

According to Dave, her daughter was going to be sick after seeing the dead frog so he told her to put the £1.99 Big Flavour sweet chilli chicken wrap in the bag.

'Everyone was just disgusted. It was the most horrible thing. She is fine with frogs, but you don't want one in your mouth. It's a health and safety risk. She could have caught salmonella," Dave said.

Dave then decided to call McDonald's but the management denies the allegation saying that the dead frog did not come from the restaurant. The customer service who talked to him did not say sorry but just offered a refund. He was also asked to return the dead frog.

"It would be good customer service to call and apologise for something like this - it wasn't a cold burger I was complaining about," Dave said.

The McDonald's spokesperson claims that the customer did not raise the issue with anyone in the restaurant. The world's largest chain of hamburgers also stated that food hygiene is important to them.

Because of the incident, Cordellia Buckley no longer wants to eat at the restaurant ever again. The girl's father also feels the same way.
