New Duracell Ad Suggests Rey Could Be A Jedi In 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' [VIDEO]

An adorable Duracell TV ad has just sparked new speculations about Rey, the young protagonist in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens!'

In the 'Duracell Star Wars Commercial: Battle for Christmas Morning,' a young boy uses a Duracell battery for his new toy lightsaber. As he leaves his room, Stormtroopers start shooting for him and C-3P0 (showing off his new bright red arm) warns him about the odds of survival. However, the boy claims he has to save his sister and R2-D2 readily supports him.

After a quick fight with some Stormtroopers, the boy's parents hand him a green lightsaber and tells him, "You're our only hope." Outside, the Stormtroopers are already leading his sister away but when he stops them, his sister immediately uses the Force to incapacitate her captors. The siblings unite to fight against the First Order, which is all part of their imagination, while their parents watch from inside the house.

So what have we learned from the new Duracell TV ad? The sister, who is dressed like Rey (Daisy Ridley), can apparently use the Force and wield a lightsaber that looks a lot like the one Luke Skywalker was using in 'Return of the Jedi.' Fans believe that there is a possibility that Rey will give in to the Force and might even get her very own lightsaber in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens.'

In addition to that, the Duracell TV ad also offers a glimpse at C-3P0 and his new red arm. Although the android has been featured in several merchandises for the film, he was not in the final 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' trailer. C-3P0's arm was also hidden in the final poster.

But will Rey really be using the Force in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens?' There is a tiny disclaimer that appears on the screen when the little girl Force-pushes the Stormtroopers away that says, "Fantasy Sequence.' Perhaps it's all just a fantasy and the children are truly just using their imagination.
