Fast and Furious Michelle Rodriguez to Star in a New Thriller, Who is the Boy in Tomboy?

Fast and Furious actress Michelle Rodriguez will go under the knife on Tomboy, A Revenger's Tale. Well, not her specifically, but her male version first. Sigourney Weaver will be slicing Michelle's body parts in this gender swapping thriller.

Maybe you've seen some on-screen captives being tortured and turned into experiments such as mutants and cyborgs. In this thrilling movie, Sigourney Weaver's character turns Michelle Rodriguez's male character into a woman. It's a journey of revenge for our male turned female protagonist.

Previously, the Hollywood Reporter posted that a search was underway to find out who will headline the transgender themed movie. Back in September, they were still searching for someone to play the hitman who becomes a woman against his will. There are some controversies circling the casting world prior to announcing Rodriguez's name.

We already know who the hitwoman is, but who is the man behind the female body parts? -Or before the female body parts?

The male hitman protagonist is still unknown at this time but it will not be a surprise if it will be Rodriguez who will play the male part. In Tom Hooper's "The Danish Girl", Nicole Kidman was initially casted to play the role of the first man to have a gender re-assignment but in the later parts of the casting, it was Eddie Redmayne who took the lead. If Eddie can turn himself into a woman on screen, who's to say Michelle Rodriguez can't be previously a man on screen?

Rodriguez will play the hitwoman, and she can successfully pull this off because of her previous roles in Avatar, the Fast and the Furious franchise, Machete and the Resident Evil film, HR announced.

The movie's script was written by Walter Hill and inspired by the writings of Denis Hamill.

The movie will start filiming on November 9 in Vancouver, Canada. Tomboy will be directed by Walter Hill and produced by Said Ben Said (Map to the Stars). The film is scheduled to air in 2017.
