The Walking Dead's Daryl Dixon played by Norman Reedus on screen will be riding his motorcycle to another television series aptly called "Ride with Norman Reedus" on AMC in 2016. You've seen him on the popular Walking Dead show riding that sweet Triumph chopper and Classified Moto and looks even better with a crossbow mount. What could be hotter than that? Maybe a documentary series with more motorcycles AND Norman Reedus hosting the show.
Norman Reedus is an avid motorcycle rider himself. He will be starring in a non-fiction television series consisting of six episodes, airing for one hour each. The show will feature Reedus with another motorcycle companion as they travel to a different destination each week. Their aim is to explore motorcycle culture in each state that they visit.
Reedus, an aficionado himself is thankful for AMC in giving him this opportunity to share his personal passion among fans and maybe a new market or audience. Reedus says he had a lot of fun exploring the show, EW reports. The docu series is not only going to be about motorcycles, but will also feature a different perspective of Reedus. The audience will get to see his personal side - his ability to make friends anywhere.
The show will also feature and celebrate motorcycle collectors, makers, craftsmen and mechanics in the United States. Clearly, Reedus' motorcycle angle is another exciting venture for AMC.
Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC, believes that no one is more passionate about motorcycles than Norman Reedus himself and for someone who is quite immersed in motorcycle culture, he is the best person to show the world what they (motorcycle aficionados) live and breathe about.
The Walking Dead's Twitter account even tweeted out that @wwwbigbaldhead (Reedus' Twitter handle) is getting his own reality show.
