During her DWTS exit interview with Hayes Grier on Good Morning America on Tuesday, October 27, dancing with the Star's Emma Slater gave fans a tiny bit of insight into that rumored relationship .
She was asked point blank if she and Alek Skarlatos, the heroic Army veteran who took down a terrorist on the Paris train, have ever been on a date.

"I should because I kind of broke his nose!" She added. Yes, she did actually break his nose! Emma claims that she and Alek, 23, are "great friends" and have remained "still close."
Now that she and Hayes are out of the running, guess who Emma picked, when asked who she would like to see win the competition? You probably guessed it right. "Alek! I want to see Alek go all the way," she said.
Slater and Skarlatos sparked opinion after they were partnered for Switch-Up Night in week 5 of the competition.
The pair scored 29 with their rumba to James Bay song "Let It Go," but the dancer accidentally broke Skarlatos' nose in rehearsals.
Alek and Emma are both single and have a distinct chemistry. "From the start, I was like, 'I love this guy, he's great!'" was Emma's remark on Alek.

The specialist and partner Lindsay Arnold remain in competition, but Slater and Hayes Grier were eliminated on Monday's episode.
Slater joined Dancing with the Stars in season 14, and previously competed with Bill Engvall, Billy Dee Williams, Michael Waltrip and Redfoo.
Skarlatos made headlines after he helped stop a gunman on a Paris-bound train in August, and appears on DWTS season 21, Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
