It's hard to tell from how soft Kendall Jenner's face looks now that she's nearly 20 years old, but a few years back, in her teenage years, she suffered from severe acne - and she's now telling her story so younger women know even the most beautiful women out there have battled with this condition.
According to The Daily Mail, the model recently opened up about how the condition affected not only Kendall Jenner's face but also her self-confidence, sharing that, in her early teens, she found herself devastated over what the condition had done to her skin.
"Where it really impacted me was how self-conscious I became about it," the young "Keeping up with the Kardashians" star wrote on her website earlier this week, speaking of Kendall Jenner's face condition. "It completely ruined my self-esteem. I wouldn't even look at people when I talked to them. I felt like such an outcast; when I spoke, it was with my hand covering my face. Sure, I had crushes in high school, but I wouldn't even think about looking at guys."
People Magazine reports that Kendall Jenner's face problems started when she was in 8th or 9th grade, and the reason she's so calm about it is partly thanks to her big sisters Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, who shared bits of wisdom with her, telling her "to never pick" on her acne and leave her face alone.
According to Refinery29, Kylie's big sister managed to improve her ski conditions with an "incredible dermatologist" who introduced her to a type of skin therapy called Laser Genesis, prompting the young star's skin to clean and her self confidence to boost once more - and now, Kendall Jenner's face graces the covers of magazines and runways all over the world!
