She's hitting the spotlight once again. Singer-songwriter Carrie Underwood has finally announced plans for her upcoming 'Storyteller' tour in 2016, according to reports.
The new tour will be taking place in 40 arenas around the United States and Canada from January to May. Along with the announcement of her Storyteller tour, Carrie Underwood also unveiled the complete list of dates and some venues.
"I can't wait to play new music from Storyteller for the fans," Underwood said in a statement during a press release. "I am so blessed to have this career and get to do the things I do, but there is nothing like that moment when I get to step onto the stage to sing and all the fans are singing along with me."
Reports say that the 32-year old 'Jesus Takes the Wheel' hit-maker has been hinting about her new tour before the announcement was made. In fact, Underwood already dropped a few hints about the big project back in January.
"I've already signed on for some things for next year as far as shows go." she said in a statement. "But as far as a proper 'tour tour', that'll happen after I have lots of new music."
While it's completely not surprising to hear of great music from Carrie Underwood's genre, she probably has much more to offer, especially now that she has another new experience to share with her fans as she welcomes her motherhood.
"I know it's possible to be a great mother and to be on the road. You don't have to sacrifice that much. I see people like Martina McBride to do it and Faith Hill does it." she explained. "I know it's a possibility. I just maybe need to sit down with them and say, 'How do you do it?'"
'The Storyteller Tour' scheduled dates on the row are set to kick off beginning January 30 at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. The shows will be in support to promote her fifth studio album 'Storyteller' which was released ahead of the tour announcement.
Carrie Underwood will be donating $1 from every ticket sold in the US. Tickets will go on sale on November 6, Friday at 10 AM local time.
