Model and war veteran Noah Galloway and his fiancee, Jamie Boyd have called off their engagement and decided to go their separate ways five months after becoming engaged on live TV.
The loving couple have assured fans that they will remain friends down the road, despite their decision to cut ties.
The announcement was done by the former Dancing With the Stars contestant via Instagram on Monday, October 26.
Galloway who captioned an Instagram photo of him and Jamie on the beach wrote, "After long and careful consideration we've decided to end our engagement. We love each other deeply and we're confident we will remain friends. While we wanted to share this you, we appreciate the respect of our privacy at this time."
33-year-old Noah Galloway, proposed to Boyd on the May 11th episode of Dancing WithThe Stars. His rise to fame came about after he appeared on the November 2014 cover of Men's Health magazine. Noah finished Season 20 in third place with his pro partner Sharna Burgess despite losing his two left limbs in 2005 from a bomb blast in Iraq.
Before Noah proposed to Boyd the DWTS contestant danced a Vienesse Waltz to David Cook‘s “Time of My Life”. They even got a 36 out of 40! But the best part came when Jamie came out to say how proud of Noah she is.
After the romantic proposal, Galloway admitted to ET that he was actually very nervous saying, "I was very nervous, ya know? About what I was going to say, and if I [would have] time. Because it's in the middle of a show, so you gotta get it done, and you're limited on what you can do. And there's all those people in there." Adding he said, "And she could have said no! That would have been horrible."
On the other hand, Boyd gushed to ET about Galloway saying, "I love this man so much! It was like, 'Pinch me!' Never in a million years could I have imagined that he would have done it here. I had no clue."
Noah is twice divorced and shares three children — sons Colston and Jack, and daughter Rian Elizabeth — with his ex-wife Tracey.
