Game developer Sega confirmS that Total War: Warhammmer exclusive for PC set to launch on Apr. 28, 2016 and is the first in an epic trilogy which will include two standalone further installment and downloadable content packs.
Sega and The Creative Assembly officially announced the release of the game after unveiling a demo at Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in July. According to Gamespot, the game information was leaked in January and then teased in March. The development of Total War: Warhammer is at The Creative Assembly with partnership of Warhammer license-holder Games. The developer is known for their games like Total War: Attila, Alien: Isolation and Halo Wars 2.
According to Gear Nuke, Sega mentioned that the game involve hundreds of hours gameplay and with 2 additional expansion packs. Total War: Warhammer will also include a batch of pre-order incentives. Pre-purchase bonuses were also revealed in the release date. The bonus will be in the form of the Chaos Warriors race pack. Early customers will receive the pack, game's first batch of downloadable content.
In a press statement release the Race Pack features a unique new mounts, bloodthirsty units, and monstrous creatures, and brings with it a brand new, narrative-driven quest chain for each Legendary Lord, and an armory of twisted and cursed magic items.
There is a limited edition package which includes a metallic case for the disc and a strategy guide as reported by Toms Hardware. The price for this mid-tier edition is still unknown.
The developer also revealed another high-tier edition called High King Edition. This edition will include a modeled after the Book of Grudges, collectibles like Grudge Ring with a rotating inner band, Slayer's Whetstone Pendant with a functional whetstone and inscribed with a talismanic Master Rune of Spite, Dwarfen Drinking Horn & Stand, Canvas Map, Integrated Artbook, Metal Case and Insider Guide.
