If you're a fan of the Nine-Nine (say it in Terry Crews' voice) then you definitely know that for the past two seasons, Andy Samberg who plays Jake Peralta always tries to one-up Captain Raymond Holt, played by Andre Braugher. What's the purpose of this annual Halloween stunt in Brooklyn Nine-NIne? For Jake to be named the "Most Amazing Detective."
The successful American action comedy TV series on Fox is now running on its third season - recently renewed on September 27, 2015. The cast revolves around a fictional 99th New York City Police Department in Brooklyn. The funny mix of characters include Terry Crews and Stephanie Beatriz.
In the most recent episode, Captain Ray Holt has just returned to the Nine-Nine squad after Jake made a deal to bring Holt back in exchange for taking credit in a major crime case. Holts return prompted the exit of the Nine-Nine's terrible captain, called "The Vulture." This Sunday, we're expecting a seriously mind-blowing episode, says Samberg, EW posted.
Samberg revealed that this coming Halloween installment is a fast one which involves the whole squad. To tickle our taste buds, Samberg offers us eight delicious treats as a preview:
The first clue? Someone in the squad might be dressed as Little Bo Peep. Next, "Someone in the squad is dressed as Popeye and it is who you think." He goes on to say, that someone will be literally crowned as the king of the precinct. He also mentions that Charles tries to set Gina up with Nadia, a friend of his. Obviously, Gina isn't interested. We might also get grossed out by roaches and Charles dressed up as Elvis this season. At one point, Jake and Holt vies for Amy's attention or her chest. Hitchcock and Scully goes rogue. And as with all episode, Jake learns a valuable lesson - about garbage?
Brooklyn Nine-Nine airs this Sunday at 8:30 PM ET on Fox.
