If you're one of the many avid Batman: Arkham Knight fans that entered the PS4 Arkham Knight bundle contest then you should know that somebody already won. Francis Tsui, is the name of the lucky Batman fan who won the contest for the chance to win a custom-made BatMobile.
In June 23, 2015, Sony Playstation posted online that they're promoting a bundle that will be so extraordinary and the prize will be extraordinary as well. The PS4 Arkham Knight Bundle included a shot at winning Sony's Limited Edition Console, a copy of the critically acclaimed Batman: Arkham Knight from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and a custom BatMobile inspired by the one shown in the game itself. The BatMobile is exclusively built for one winner at Super Gamer Builds.
All fans needed to do was post a photo of themselves online. Take a #selfie with the new Batman: Arkham Knight PS4 Bundle and tweet it out with the hashtag #PS4BundleSweepstakes. The quick and easy process rolled out thousands if not millions of tweets from BatMan fanatics. For Francis Tsui, it was his first time to tweet - ever. And for that one tweet, he won a BatMobile.
A video posted online by Awe Me and Sony features a look into how the BatMobile was made. It took seven weeks for the iconic ride to come into fruition. It started out as an ordinary dune buggy. With that basic foundation in mind, the designers from Super Gamer Builds focused on the exterior design of the vehicle - a fiber glass, sanded foam and painted casting of the BatMobile.
The design and process is quite impressive. It resembles closely to the one in the Arkham Knight game. And it's black and shiny!
For Francis, a system engineer, he doesn't need to just play the game to drive a BatMobile. Now, he can ride one. Well, sort of.
The vehicle is not road-legal. But hey, it's still a BatMobile!
