Neil Degrasse Tyson always has an opinion about what's going on at the movies. The renowned astrophysicist has used his scientific expertise to dissect some of the biggest films to hit theatres in recent years.
He was a vocal critic of Alfonso Cuaron's Gravity when it screened two years ago. Using Twitter, he unleashed a lengthy series pointing out many of the film's scientific inaccuracies. In the end, he did concede that he still enjoyed the movie very much.

He had kinder words for Christopher Nolan's Interstellar when it debuted last year, giving the movie top marks for its depiction of Einstein's Theory of Relativity and Curvature of Space.

Just last week, he was at it again, sharing his thoughts on Ridley Scott's latest film, The Martian.
Now, Tyson is branching out from science fiction films and lending his knowledge to the realm of comic books. Speaking with Tech Insider, he offered his thoughts on the biggest debate in movies at the moment: Batman or Superman?
Conventional wisdom says that Bruce Wayne would be no match for Superman's godlike powers; but Tyson believes there is one battle where the caped crusader can come out on top.
'If Batman is ever to defeat Superman, it is not in a cage, it is some other way. It is the court of public opinion, perhaps. Forces that are not how big are your muscles or how fast you can run or how high you can fly, but who do you want working for you. That's a different issue. That's a more subtle issue.'
Not exactly how we envisioned Batman v. Superman playing out, but give Neil props for trying.
