One Direction Belfast Concert Canceled Over Liam Payne’s Mysterious Illness, And Niall Horan Might Be Sick Too

Months after Zayn Malik departed the band that made him a superstar, One Direction has carried on beyond their former bandmate, who's also reportedly gone on to other, newer projects; however, now that things seem to be back on track, there might be health problems for the band now that One Direction's Belfast concert was canceled.

There were three scheduled One Direction Belfast concerts in the Northern Ireland capital, as the biggest boy band in the world was set to perform at the SSE Arena on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday until Liam Payne was suddenly taken ill, which prompted a cancelation of the Tuesday show - but the show will go on at the other two dates, the band says.

According to BBC, the cancellation of the first One Direction Belfast concert happened quite late, on the very same day at about 9pm local time, which meant most of the audience was already in the venue, which obviously prompted some serious outrage.

Fans booed on their way out of the One Direction Belfast venue last Tuesday after they were instructed to leave because Liam had taken in, saying that while it wasn't serious, they definitely would be unable to perform that night.

"It happened so late because we were trying to get on and then it was just impossible," said band member Harry Styles to Chris Evans on BBC Radio 2, RTE reports. "He was trying to get there last night and he was just very, very ill. We very, very much apologize to everyone."

The Mirror reports that perhaps Payne wasn't the only sick one ahead of the first One Direction Belfast show, as Niall Horan was scheduled to appear at a local radio show and had to pull out at the last minute, prompting speculation that he may have been taken ill too.

Will the following two One Direction Belfast concerts really happen?
