Rage and Support Rise Up After Ebony Magazine Posted ‘Cosby Show’ Cover

Ebony, an African American magazine, released their November issue, and was followed by rage and stir particularly on Twitter.

The Ebony's Family Issue's cover picture was a group shot of 'The Cosby Show' cast, including Bill Cosby himself, Phylicia Rashad, his wife in the show, and four actor as his children.

There's no controversy in the cover picture only that the smirking expression of 78-year-old Cosby, who has faced a series of sexual assault charges lately, is almost covered by a picture of shattered glass, reported USA Today.

The reactions to the cover on Twitter have been nuanced and extensively separated. A lot of people have acted and responsed with praise, numerous with anger, but moreover there are those talking about Ebony itself , regarding the courage that the magazine had to take this approach or the argument that the publication crossed the line.

Resembling the remarkable cover, the true Cosby's image has been crushed above last year by a repetition of allegations dating back decades ago that he drugged and violated more than 50 women in encounters, plus when he hosted the American TV sitcom "The Cosby Show".

The magazine is not even on newsstands so far, nevertheless after Ebony posted the cover on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter on Wednesday, posts and tweets loaded up.

"Bill Cosby shattered his own image, Ebony just printed the cover," one twitter user assumed, while one more added, "This Ebony cover of the Cosby show pulls no punches. Whew."

"I don't like that new Ebony mag cover. Im sorry but you can't erase the legacy of Bill Cosby.....he has done wayyyyyyyy to much too much!" a Cosby follower wrote.

Before the post was deleted, the magazine's editor-in-chief Kierna Mayo posted on Facebook: "I believe with everything that our collective healing (from this and all traumas) is tied to baring truths, confronting selves, and dismantling crutches,"

"We aim to uplift. "However, sometimes before you rise up, you break down."
