'John Stamos Drove Under the Influence of Drugs’, Autorithies Said

The star of the Fox sitcom "Grandfathered", John Stamos, was formally charged with driving under the influence of drugs. According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office the incident happened in Beverly Hills, California.

Prosecutors said that the actor was pulled over by the police in Los Angeles after they received calls with reference to a motorist who behaved strangely and drove erratically. The actor is the only person inside his vehicle at that point of time.

The police was not able to classify the drug that Stamos had taken before his detentio. It is not also defined in the charges and police report. 

The police with company of some paramedics took him to a close by hospital, and in there the authorities concluded that the star was driving under the influence and they arrested him.

 Questions arose about the long process of filing charges against Stamos which lasted for four months after he was caught last June 12. Following his arrest, Stamos chose to check into rehabilitation center. Following his arrest, Stamos chose to check into rehabilitation center.
 
The TV star will have his hearing in court on Friday. If he is found guilty regarding the case, the ER actor could be convicted and sentenced into jail for about six months.

If sentenced to jail, it will surely affect his career and his work on his both current TV series.
 
'Grandfathered', a new Fox series, had just premiered last month. Stamos is one of the cast of this series. He also had a part in Fuller House, the Netflix reboot of the sitcom Full House. Filming will be held in Hollywood and producer had set a time for its live streaming next year.  
 
Fox and Netflix did not release any statement how the shows will go on if Stamos will be convicted.

 In the long-running sitcom Full House, Stamos played the role of Jesse. The sitcom ran from 1987 up to 1995.
