Anyone who has seen 'Back to the Future' would know that October 21, 2015 is a very important date. The date happens to be the day in the second film where Marty McFly zooms into the future to try and keep his son from being imprisoned.
October 21, 2015 will be happening quite soon and fans of 'Back to the Future II' are really looking forward to celebrate the day. Luckily, Toyota has found an excellent way to meet 'Back to the Future Day': a reunion for Christopher Lloyd and Michael J. Fox in the new commercial for the car company's latest model, the Mirai.
The teaser for the new Toyota Mirai commercial shows Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd meeting up in a diner to discuss what 'Back to the Future II' had predicted correctly. The duo that is best known as Marty McFly and Doc Brown mentioned 3D movies and finger printing technology as well as dog-walking robots before joking about fax machines.
The short 43-second teaser is only a small preview of what is expected to be a huge production for the Toyota Mirai, which will be one of the first commercially available hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles.
The name Mirai actually means "future" in Japanese and has been rated the most fuel efficient hydrogen fuel cell vehicle by the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Although the Toyota Mirai has only been made available in Japan and the US, it will also be released in Europe this fall.
Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd's reunion is something that all 'Back to the Future' fans have been looking forward to for a long time. The two actors first worked together in the original 'Back to the Future' released in 1985 and have starred in all three films.
Watch out for the release of the full Toyota Mirai commercial on October 21, 2015.
