Halle Berry is a new mom, again.
Berry and husband, Olivier Martinez, welcomed their first child son on Saturday at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. This is the first child for Martinez. Berry has a five-year-old daughter, Nahla, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry.
Martinez, 47, first revealed that he and his wife were expecting a boy in June.
"My son will remain an American, but I will remain French," he said. "I remain a Frenchman in America, but I adapt to American culture. I feel good there-but I'm still a foreigner. My son will be an American."
Before the couple made their big baby news announcement, Berry made an appearance on the Wendy Williams Show last November dishing on Nahla's desire to be a big sister.
"Every night, we do our prayers," the Oscar-winner said. "We pray to God, so sweet. She says, 'God, please bring me a bunk bed and a baby sister.' And I say, 'I can do one of those things, I know for sure. The other one, we've got to keep praying on.'"
Berry and Martinez married in a private ceremony in France in July. It is the third marriage for Berry. The duo began their relationship last year after meeting on the set of the film "Dark Tide".
According to CNN, once the mother of two gets settled she will star in Steven Spielberg's new CBS drama called "Extant", in which she'll play an astronaut who returns home after a year-long solo mission in space.
"There's only one Halle Berry and we are incredibly honored that she has chosen 'Extant' to expand her illustrious career," Spielberg said in a statement. "As she does with everything she touches, she will bring a deep authenticity to her role and I very much look forward to working with her."
The series is scheduled to air in summer 2014.
