Bill Murray's films have cheered up generations, from "Ghostbusters" to the spring classic "Groundhog Day," and now it's time for Bill Murray's Christmas to become a little bit brighter, with the release of his holiday special directed by his "Lost in Translation" director Sofia Coppola, "A Very Murray Christmas."
As one of the most beloved stars in Hollywood, all the 65 year-old comedian needed to do to get some A-Listers to join Bill Murray's Christmas special was a phone call, and so he's got some of the biggest names in entertainment, including George Clooney, Miley Cyrus, Amy Poehler, Chris Rock, Paul Schaffer and plenty of fellow "SNL" alums.
According to The Guardian, Bill Murray's Christmas special will homage to variety shows, as stars approach during a "terrible snow storm" in New York.
