"Dumb and Dumber" the sequel has officially began production.
Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels dress up as Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne, for the second installment of their highly-anticipated hit comedy. Daniels posted a goofy selfie with Carrey of the two of them in costume on Tuesday.
"We're back!!!" he crowed in the tweet.
The picture shows Carrey sporting his famously weird haircut and chipped tooth.
"There are some things that we're going to do in 'Dumb and Dumber To' that makes the toilet scene [in the original] seem lame," Daniels told E! News. "Pales in Comparison, and I can't divulge what, but just that they've topped it,"
Earlier this month, Carrey posted his own selfie on Twitter of his mouth in character, complete with the signature chipped-tooth smile.
He captioned it, "GESS HUUZ BAK BICHEZ?"
After Daniels picked up his first Emmy Sunday night, for his role as news anchor Will McAvoy in HBO's drama "The Newsroom," he went backstage to chat up the media.
According to Yahoo TV, when the actor was asked what were his plans for the reminder of the evening, Daniels replied he would be heading to the set of "Dumb and Dumber".
"We're going to party until dawn and then I'm going to hop on a plane to Atlanta and start shooting 'Dumb and Dumber To'" he said.
"Dumb and Dumber To" is set to hit theaters in 2014.
