Chrissy Teigen just announced that she and husband John Legend, are pregnant. They’ve been trying to have a baby for a while, and it hasn’t been easy for them, which just makes Chrissy and John that much more excited that it’s finally happening.
Teigen announced the happy news on Instagram Monday, sharing a touching photo with her husband, singer John Legend, writing, “John and I are so happy to announce that we are pregnant :) As many of you know, we’ve been trying to have a baby for a while now. It hasn’t been easy, but we kept trying because we can’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family. We’re so excited that it’s finally happening. Thank you for all your love and well wishes. I look forward to all the belly touching!”
Chrissy talked about her fertility struggles on a recent FABLife episode. “We’ve seen fertility doctors and once you open up about those things to other people, you learn that a lot of other people in your life are seeing these people and they have this shame about it,” she told the audience.
Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have been very vocal in the last year that they definitely want to have children, and just recently while at the 2015 Television Critics Association summer press tour, where she was promoting her upcoming show FABLife alongside Tyra Banks, Chrissy revealed that she's ready to settle down.
"I'm aging. I love bouncing around. I love going on tour with John, we've considered ourselves bi-coastal for 10 years now. It's definitely weird and different to have a home now," she said. "I'm ready to have a family and call Los Angeles my home."
