‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Cast: Did Zoe Saldana Just Confirm Benicio Del Toro’s Collector Will Return For Vol. 2 Sequel?

Zoe Saldana, one of the most fierce women in show business these days after co-starring in a number of action-packed films including James Cameron's "Avatar" and the "Star Trek" reboot, may have just confirmed one crucial bit of news of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast - Benicio Del Toro's character!

Academy Award-winning actor Del Toro, who recently confirmed he'll be part of the "Star Wars" episode 8 in an unnamed role, plays The Collector in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, having made his debut during the mid-credits scene of "Thor: The Dark World" to later become part of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast - and now, maybe its sequel as well.

According to The Mary Sue, Saldana fueled rumors that Del Toro will reprise his MCU role to join the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast in the sequel, after she and husband Marco Perego took to Facebook to post a message directed at the Puerto Rican actor.

As Collider reports, the Hollywood couple posted a long message praising Del Toro's performance in his latest film, "Sicario," where he co-stars with fellow MCU actor Josh Brolin (Thanos), with Saldana then finishing the whole comments with a swift "I'll see you in Guardians," prompting the revelation that he'll be part of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast once again.

In the past, Del Toro hasn't seemed too sure whether he'd be returning to the MCU at all or let alone as part of the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast, but, according to Screen Crush, this wouldn't be the first time that a co-star reveals that another actor will be part of an upcoming MCU film.

A few months back, it was "Iron Man" actor Robert Downey Jr. who revealed that Mark Ruffalo would be reprising his role as Bruce Banner/The Hulk in next year's "Captain America: Civil War," though he's now been reportedly cut from the final film.

In any case, we'll just have to wait for further announcements regarding the "Guardians of the Galaxy" cast!
