Ryan Seacrest Will Be His Sister’s ‘Man of Honor’ On Her Wedding After Giving Him A Heart-Clenching Poem

Ryan Seacrest, the 40-year-old American Idol host received a touching letter from his sister Meredith.

The letter will read,

"Dear Ryan, I'm on my way to say "I do", and wanted to talk about me and you.

"You've been by my side all of my life, and I wouldn't want you anywhere else, when I became a wife.

"I'm so lucky to have you as my brother, and couldn't imagine celebrating with anyone other.

"So basically what I'm trying to say... Will you be my Man of Honor on my special day?!

"Love, Meredith"

The letter was written to invite him to be the man of honor of his sister on her approaching wedding. A man of honor will stand on the bride's side on the altar, and will have the same role as of the maid of honor.

The TV Host posted a snapshot of this touching invitation on Instagram on Thursday with the caption, "I have a role in my sister's wedding... just shed tear. Love u mere."

The engagement was announced by Ryan and Meredith last month om another Instagram post.

Even though Ryan is so popular, the Seacrest family remains intact and undivided even with the acclaimed host's status. Apparently, his lovely sister serves as the COO of the Ryan Seacrest Foundation with the help of their mother as well.

Ryan Seacreast Foundation, according to its own website is a non-profit organization that dedicates its service in inspiring and educating the young generation via entertainment and in learning focused projects.

Ryan was spotted at a West Hollywood restaurant dating former Miss Teen USA Hilary Cruz, 26. The famous couple had been dating for a few months.

In the meantime, Julianne Hough, 27, Ryan's ex, had announced her engagement to Brook Laich, a Washington Capitals hockey player. Julianne, of Dancing with the Stars and Ryan had been together for three years and quit their relationship in March of 2013.
