Shania Twain is back with new music.
The iconic country singer confirmed in an interview with Rolling Stone that she's already got new music lined up for a new album and that she's currently in the process of seeking out the best producer.
"I'm pretty much there with my songs, I'm really just sitting on the fence in regards to a producer," she said. "So I'm listening to a lot of records, doing my homework there, and trying to determine who is the right match."
The "Still the One" may shock fans after revealing her recent musical inspiration.
"This is last year, but I'm really stuck on Lana Del Rey. I've been listening to that one a lot more and kind of stuck on the sound of that record," she said. "I really love Raising Sand as well-Alison Krauss and Robert Plant. So that goes to show you how lost I am as far as production direction, because I'm listening to such a broad spectrum."
The new album, which does not have release date yet, will be the country singer's first album since 2002 "Up!" Twain said there is plenty of pressure to male a album after a long hiatus.
"I do want it to be perfect, and I want it to be something that I really enjoy and a product of my inspiration," said Twain in the interview from her home in Switzerland. "I'm different, I've evolved, and I want that to be reflected in the music. At the same time I don't want to abandon the root of what I am."
Twain said starting a new album can be stressful. She told Rolling Stone she wanted to find producers that allowed her to stay committed to herself. Non of her new music will be in her new Las Vegas show.
After a series of sold out shows Twain will be returning to Vegas for another series of dates that kick off Oct. 15 and run through mid-December. According to Yahoo, Twain is country music's biggest-selling female artist of all time.
