Kirsten Dunst ‘Fargo’: Mary Jane Watson Actress Sick Of Blockbusters, Thinks TV Is New Haven For Creative People In Showbiz

After being in show business for most of her life (as young as 12 years of age she already had an enviable career having worked with the likes of Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Melanie Griffith and Tom Hanks), the "Bring It On" actress certainly can teach the world a thing or two about what's going on in Hollywood, and as Kirsten Dunst's "Fargo" performance comes to small screens, she's not keeping quiet!

Growing up and in her early 20s, Dunst was certainly one of the highest-coveted actresses in Hollywood, starring in blockbusters like "Spider-Man" as well as more independent films like "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" - but these days she's taking things easier, as Kirsten Dunst's "Fargo" performance reaches audiences.

According to Cinema Blend, Kirsten Dunst's "Fargo" work has made her think more and more about the state of Hollywood as it is today as well as the recent move to television - and she's not too happy with what's going on in the industry she grew up in.

"The movie industry is in a weird place, for sure, and the creative people are blossoming on television," said Kirsten Dunst of "Fargo" and other television in a recent interview with The Guardian. "There are just too many movies being made, I think. So many of them get lost. Too many cooks in the kitchen - the studio's editing it, the producers are editing it, the director's editing, too. But everyone has their hand in it, so whose movie is it at the end of the day."

As Yahoo! News reports, this in no way sees the actress degrading the medium she's now working on (as Kirsten Dunst's "Fargo" character is set to make its debut on HBO in just a few days), saying that doing television work is much more challenging due to how many lines actors have to learn per day, and how there are less takes allowed.

You can watch Kirsten Dunst's "Fargo" debut on October 12 on FX!
