Blake Shelton On Life After Divorce From Miranda Lambert: 'I'm in a good place, I wasn't but I am now'

It has been three months since Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced their divorce, and the country crooner has openly talked about his life as a single man.

"I'm good, I'm good." Shelton said while smiling during his interview aired at the CMT's Hot 20 Countdown last October 3, Saturday. "I'm not in rehab. I have to pick up a magazine every now and then to see my alter ego, I guess."

When being asked about his new outlook in life as he welcomes positive developments, the 39-year old X-Factor said that he's 'in a good place'.

"I'm in a good place. I wasn't, but I am now. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around for you. I've had some pretty cool things in recent times that have happened, and I'm loving it."

Following their split up, Shelton has been reportedly losing his weight. While this may be true, one sure thing that hasn't changed about this man is his sense of humor.

"I would like to sit here and tell you that I've been exercising, but I haven't been," he joked. "I push-mow my lawn."

As he continued to brush off some humor during the interview, Shelton blamed the summer rain in his Oklahoma home for his sudden lost of weight.

"In the middle of processing chaos with my personal life, I walked out and I was thinking, 'What's going on in my life?" he said. "I mean, 'This is so crazy, what the hell is going on with my yard? It's like are you kidding me? It's like three feet tall out here. What happened?"

Shelton and Lambert have remained in good terms weeks after they announced their divorce, with Shelton even saying "We're buddies."

"Our whole thing was: You know, we're just going to be cool about this. It is what it is." he said during his interview at the Bobby Bones Show in September.

Besides seemingly trying to get his things back together, Shelton is currently focused on his work being one of 'The Voice' season 9 judges, along with Gwen Stefani, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams.
